1:1 Coaching
My 1:1 work supports you to:
Become more deeply connected to yourself and navigate life from that place so that you can make decisions aligned with your values and needs
Live a more self-directed and consent-based life so that you can embody the change you want to see in the world and experience greater autonomy and liberation from society’s constraints and expectations
Learn more about what it means to live in alignment with your neurotype so that you can build sustainable ways of doing things, shine a light on internalised ableism and feel more equipped to navigate burnout
Decide where to spend your precious (and probably limited) energy so that you can prioritise things that truly matter to you and reduce the chances of overwhelm
Build like-minded connections that feel good for everyone involved so that you can continue to show up for your wider community with a sense of solidarity and purpose
“Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?”
— Mary Oliver
Who is it for?
The people I work with are committed to creating meaningful change, whether in their personal lives, through their work, or at a systemic level. You might not describe yourself as a changemaker or cycle-breaker, but if you challenge the status quo and believe we all deserve better than the current systems and ways of relating to ourselves and each other, then I’m speaking to you.
My current and past clients have included:
Therapists, psychologists, coaches, and other mental health professionals
Authors and public speakers
Educators and advocates working in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI)
Unschooling parents and grassroots activists
Business owners and leaders within organizations
Importantly, you won’t be a stranger to self-development work and/or therapy, and you’ll be ready to dive deeper into connecting with yourself and discovering how to live in a way that best works for you.
You’ll most likely be neurodivergent, whether self-identified or formally diagnosed, and you’ll want to learn more about your neurotype and how to stay regulated as often as possible, using emotional and sensory regulation tools. Side note: I’m not into the “hack your brain to be more productive” stuff.
Above all, you’ll be deeply committed to taking steps toward where you want to be. Living a countercultural life isn’t easy, but it’s far easier than squishing yourself into a life that doesn’t fit.
How does it work?
We meet on a fortnightly basis over a 6-month period. This time frame allows us to dive deep and make lasting progress. While some clients choose to continue working with me beyond that, there’s no pressure to do so.
Our work together will be unique to you. Depending on your goals, we may draw from a variety of approaches including:
Transformational Coaching
Matrix Reimprinting
Emotional Freedom Technique (Tapping)
Somatic Techniques
Visualisation
Tarot / Oracle Cards
Between sessions, you’ll have access to support via Voxer, a voice/text messaging app, for the full 6 months. You can use this space to check in, share your progress, get some encouragement if you’re struggling, ask for resources, or for me to pull a card on something.
Give Voxer a try
You’ll have 6 months of between-session support on secure messaging app, Voxer. I’m a big fan of it’s walkie-talkie function, meaning you can either listen to voice messages live or listen and respond in your own time. We can even have a session there if you’re feeling too tired to meet on Zoom.
If you’d like to give it a try, listen to a message from me here with some quick steps on how to get started.
Pricing
The cost for working together over 6 months is £2400
This includes 12 x 1-hour sessions, plus 6 months of voice/text support via Voxer, so you’ll have ongoing access to me between sessions.
Some clients prefer to pay in monthly instalments of £400, and interest-free payment plans are available – no questions asked.
Transparency
As a neurodivergent person and a single parent to two neurodivergent children, my work hours are limited. To ensure I can provide the best support to my clients while meeting my family’s financial needs, I work with a small number of clients at a time.
For every 8 full fee-paying clients I take on, I offer 2 discounted spots to people who wouldn’t otherwise be able to access my 1:1 coaching. These spots are in high demand and are intended for those who would fall on the Middle or Bottom of the scale of The Green Bottle Method’s Sliding Scale. The discounted rates available are:
25% discount - £1800 or £300 per month for 6 months
50% discount - £1200 or £200 per month for 6 months
After a low-cost spot becomes available, the onboarding process is just the same. I’ll contact you via email and invite you to an intro call. This gives us a chance to connect, explore whether we're a good fit, and discuss how we can work together.
If we’re both keen to proceed, you’ll choose the discount that works best for you, and that’s the price you’ll pay - no questions asked. You might like to use The Green Bottle’s diagram to help in making your decision. Please be mindful that opting for a lower price when you can afford a higher rate limits access to those who truly need a lower cost option.
If you’d like to join the waiting list for a low-cost spot, please sign up here. And to be kept in the loop about other ways we could work together, sign up to my newsletter, Spark below.
FAQs
What is working with you like?
Unlike some other therapeutic practices, coaching is an equal relationship defined by consent, empathy, safety, confidentiality, non-judgement, honesty, self-reflection and humour.
At no time will I try to fix you, but I will instead help you to rediscover the untapped and infinite resources you have within.
To see what my clients say about working with me, check out some testimonials.
What should I bring with me to sessions?
Your comfort matters! Please feel free to stim, take breaks if you need to and have to hand anything you need to feel as comfy as possible, e.g. blankets, fidget toys, a warm drink.
You might also like to bring a notepad and pen if you’re someone who processes best whilst doodling or writing.
In order for our work to be as impactful as possible, it’s important to be somewhere quiet where you can speak freely without feeling observed by others.
If you have any access needs, please do let me know.
Where do sessions take place?
Sessions usually take place online via Zoom (video calling platform), but they can also be via telephone if you prefer.
Asynchronous coaching via Voxer is another option if you’d prefer to speak via voice notes for the allotted hour.
What days are you available?
The majority of my 1:1 client work takes place during UK office hours on Thursdays and Fridays. I can sometimes offer Tuesday or Thursday evenings, depending on availability.
How do payment plans work?
I offer interest-free payment plans. You are welcome to pay £400 per month or suggest an alternative if that works better. Some clients go on paying me after our work together has finished, others pay a lump sum up front with smaller instalments. Either way, we can usually make it work so think about what might work for you and we can chat about it in the Intro Call.
After we’ve agreed a payment plan that works for us both, you’ll receive an invoice from Square. You’ll enter your credit/debit card details and the money will be taken automatically each month on the same day for as long as the payment plan lasts. It’s much easier than a bank transfer and cuts down on admin for both of us!
Is this therapy?
Whilst my work is trauma-informed and I often work with clients to release and resolve trauma, working with me is not a substitute for acute mental health care or substance abuse treatment. If you are currently in any kind of therapy, please inform your medical or therapeutic practitioner of your intention to work with a coach.
